cannot get past a "restart your computer" screen.

got a square on my screen telling me i need to restart the computer. i did and still have the square asking me to restart. what do i do now?

PowerMac, Mac OS X (10.4.11), just replaced the video card

did another disk repair using first aid. it failed. got "keys out of order" could not be repaired. error: the underlying task reported failure on exit. "HFS volume checked" failed and could not be repaired. anything else i can do???

thanks. going to just get a newer computer now. do you know how to get files off the G4 hard drive and transfer to the new hard drive?
