I wasn't implying any illegal activity on your part. I was questioning that an MS employee would even consider suggesting such a thing. They should be more than well aware it's illegal.

I don't think they were following MS policy.

I would have to believe not, also. As ds store noted, the clerk was saying anything to get you to buy a PC rather than a Mac.

"There is an Apple Store across the street."

Sounds like some poor business decisions started early on.

I guess they lose points on common sense too 🙂
