I had no interest in making a purchase of any description. I was in a mall to join friends. I was a few minutes early so I stopped in at the new MS store. I could just as easily been at Coach, LV or any of the shops. Can't believe I didn't go to Godiva!

I was astonished at what I can only refer to as AppleMania on the part of the staff. Not only one clerk. Several staffers were involved in whatever they were trying to accomplish. They made references to Apple and Mac more than any item they had to offer. One person made a casual reference to Surface.

My impression is that the store is very poorly managed. I emailed the community rep via Meetup regarding staff promoting beach of the software agrement for OS X. The rep is promoting the store thru Meetup. There was no response to my email. That was a huge turnoff.

The entire experience was totally weird. I am out of there. Too many other places sell pc if I want one. Not much of a first impression.

I am laughing as type this. Common sense should dictate that if I wanted info on Apple I would have been in the Apple Store across the street. I guess they lose points on common sense too 🙂

You dug up a topic that hasn't been responded to in over 2 1/2 years just to get the same response?

It's illegal. You cannot install OS X on PC hardware. Yes, there are hacks out there that make it possible, but there are no OS X drivers for the myriad of PC hardware, so the results don't run well, if you can get it to boot at all.
