Why can't I download movies on LTE when it's twice as fast as my wifi connection?

I get 5mb downstream on wifi, but 10-18mb on LTE. But iTunes won't let me download on LTE, as though a faster "wifi" connection is needed? Any workaround?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Here's the answer:

Does the iTunes Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch work over a cellular data network?

For all types of available content, the iTunes Store for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch works over Wi-Fi. If you own an iPhone, iPad Wi-Fi + 3G, or iPad (3rd generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular, you can also use a cellular data network. Cellular downloads are limited to apps, music, music videos, books, audiobooks, podcasts, and iTunes U files with a file size of 50 MB or smaller, depending on the wireless carrier. You cannot download movies or TV shows using a cellular data network, regardless of file size. Fees may be associated with downloading over cellular networks; contact your wireless carrier for details.

Well that's totally ignorant. I can stream and download movies and shows with my Xfinity app, and I can stream stuff with Netflix, using a cellular network. What's up with this? It's my data, I should be able to use it the way I want to!

Then talk to your wireless provider about it. these are user to user forums, so it makes no sense for you to complain here.
