iTunes song downloading issue

I was trying to download a few songs that I bought on my iPod to my iPad, some I deleted off of the downloading list because I decided i didn't want them on my iPad. But I made the mistake of deleting some of the songs that were actually loading, now I am stuck with the info of the song, but no song or album artwork, iTunes shows that it has been downloaded and I can't deleted off my iPad. Can I delete the song without having to connect with iTunes on the computer, if so them how?
