Bloody mighty mouse!

Please can someone help me! I have had 2 mighty mouses and both have had the same problem.

Its always the little scoll wheel what goes and it doesnt let you scroll down anyone. It happened on one after about 4 months, so I brought a new one about 2 months ago as it was bugging me, and now this one has started doing the same!

Is this covered by the warrenty? Im in england and so and ive been told that if I ring applecare, I will be charged for it.

Mac Mini, Mac OS X (10.4.6)

Are you using these mice with Windows or Mac? If you're using it with a Mac, then you need to re-post your question in maybe the OS X discussions, using a Mighty Mouse with a Mac has nothing to do with Windows Compatbilitiy, the emphasis of this forum.

Well I use it with both (switch between my mac mini and my windows laptop). Its compatible with windows anyway so I thought I would post it here.

It doesnt have anything to do with what operating system im using it with, its a problem with the mouse (happend to 2 I have had and others aswell) so im just looking for a number to call so I can get it replaced or repaired (Ive just brought this one and im not shelling out another £30-£40 for the same thing to happen).

the mighty mouses have notorious issues with being unble to scroll up or down after extended use. try using canned air that you can buy at any computer store; just push down on the center button and blow the air onto the scroll sphere to dislodge any dirt or grit. dont try to take it apart cause it will only break. this method has worked for me many times.
