I'm looking for apps that I can get with the 2nd generation iPod Touch that has maxed out on iOS installage. I am currently at 4.2.1 and I would like to know different games and other entertaining apps (including social media) that I can download with this iPod touch and with the current iOS that I have. 70% of apps in the App Store might require an updated iOS for newer as well as older apps with updated features. I understand your problem at a much better level coz am having the same device with the same iOS. You have two steps at your disposal.
1. Contact the developer of each app you require and ask them for a compatible version for your iTouch.
2. If have made any backup of your older .ipa files, you can use them! (Please make sure they are your own, bought from your Apple ID)
