Facebook Contact Sync Problem

I don't think that's the case cos more than 90% of my contacts aren't showing up and surely there's gotta be some useful information in those. Also, calendars aren't syncing properly either. In particular, not all my friends' birthdays are showing up anymore!

Me too, with IOS 6.1.3

Same problem here in my iphone 4s with the latest ios update and in my macbook pro too. As I readed the responsable are the Facebook conditions or somethin like this.

iphone 5 OS 6.1.4 same problem - does anybody know of a fix yet?

or is there a way of manually adding a phone number and then syncing that to a facebook friend contact?

Thanks for this update...really whats happening. Let's hope this get's fixed on FB by requesting feedback, but I don't believe they will revert this.

I went to apple today and got a new phone. they said it was a software corruption but when I uploaded everything back on from icloud then re installed facebook, the same thing is happening. No facebook contacts are being synched. Only 12 out of my 1800+ friends.

Apple said they have no knowledge of any problem such as this and I reported the problem to facebook... nothing. I'm so frusterated!!!!!

I'm so glad I'm not alone in this - it's been annoying me for ages. Although I can understand why Facebook don't want to clutter our contact lists, I used to link contacts together just to have their profile pictures. That was really fun and added a great visual element to what is otherwise a cold and impersonal experience. I wish they would allow us to do it again.

I just got an iphone and had the same problems. in my case i got lucky. my galaxy III did however have all my facebook contacts. i exported these to the sd card. then i hooked it up to my computer found the file and imported it to my gmail (any email would work i assume) after the contacts appeared and i merged them to remove duplicates. then went to my iphone mail and updated it. then in my contacts i made sure my gmail was synced and wolla!!

if you dont have a android to use or another device there may be a way to possible do it from facebook? but idk

Will this issue be resolved. Are the Apple is aware of this problem.

Same issue on my iPhone 6+. Fresh setup, I did not restore from a previous iCloud backup.

Only 55 of my 600+ contacts show up. I tried removing the Facebook app as well as deleting my Facebook account info from settings.

Anyone ever get resolution on this issue?
