Any free good software wireless analyzers, like Windows' Netstumbler and inSSIDer, for Mac OS X 10.8.3?
Thank you in advance. 🙂

Mountain Lion has some good wifi diagnostics built-in. Option click on the wifi icon and choose "Open Wifi Diagnostics". Then in the menu bar find "Utilities" and "wifi scan" etc.

Oh thanks. I did not know that!

Thanks! No updates since 16 February 2010. 😟
Have you tried Wireless Diagnostics?
Hold Option key while clicking WiFi menu bar icon.
Oops. Sorry for the duplication.
Thanks all. I tried them all and they were good in 10.8.4. I will use all! 🙂

Ah thanks. I thought it wasn't compatible with Mac OS X 10.8.x. I will try again later. 🙂

Why is that a problem? It works just fine. Has WiFi changed since 2010?

But software changed especially from 10.6 to 10.8. I just don't want to hose my OS from outdated softwares. 🙂
As I stated, it works.
There are unix programs buried inside OS X that are older than OS X. Never been updated, but work just fine.

Is this the Airport one? If so, then I am getting crashes in v0.3.3 in 10.8.4 with the latest AirPort updates released a few days ago. Also, I have to reboot since wireless network breaks. 😟

Too bad no graphics like graphs, signal strengths, etc. like the other third party programs. 🙂
