Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I have had my 4S for about a year now. About once a month ( but 3 times just this week) I get a email dated 12/31/69. This email has no sender, no subject, and no content. I can not open it, nor can I delete it. It appears on my phone, but not my IPad or laptop. It is through Yahoo mail. It deletes itself usually within 15 minutes, but will sometimes, take up to a hour. Any one else experience this?

Been around for quite a while. When you get one Reset your iPhone.
I'm having the same problem from about 2 eyars up today with my gmail account.... To solve temporally the problem i need to go to taskbar and force close mail app and open again and try to sync gmail account.. if the same problem occour i repeat the procedure up solve the problem..
I am having the same issue on my iphone 6, with the gmail. They just appeared last night for the first time. I had to reset my other email account after the latest update and now this account is messed up. I can't delete them, first there were two, now one keeps returning. I reset my icloud and I think that made it possible to receive and send emails. But that "No Sender" dated 12/31/69 keeps returning. Hope Apple fixes it.
Did you do a Forced Restart on your iPhone?
Yes I did that, in addition to just turning it off. The email only appears on the iphone and not the ipad, so strange, but good.
The Forced Restart will clear the emails with that date and you shouldn't see them for awhile if ever.
No, it returns, actually to the same order of when it first came in the inbox. It regenerates itself, I delete it, it goes away, then reappears to the same spot in the list of emails..
Not my experience but if both times it was with Google mail I'm guessing it is an issue with them and not particularly your device.
I deleted the gmail account and then re-added it and that seems to work- for now.
I have this problem also. Resetting did fix it for now. But it always comes back a few days later. I have the biggest issue with my Exchange account. I do see the problem occasionally with Gmail.
I changed my password. I have 2 step login
I tried re setting and that only helps for a short time and then it starts all over again with 12/31/00 and 12:31/69 emails with NO SENDER AND NO CONTENT
It junks up my Inbox and I can't even read normal emails when these virus emails are coming in.
It just won't stop.

Resetting is only a temporary cure.
I tried changing my password. NOthing is stopping these no sender no content 12/31/00 emails.

Resetting didn’t work!
So what do u suggest if the restart didn’t work? Does APPLE not have a fix for this?
