unable to connect printer to mac air. states the printer is offline but it isn't.
I have a new mac air that I need to connect to various printers. All the printers drivers are installed and pop up when I need to start the printing process. The problem is either:
When I click on "print," the printer icon appears in the doc and then automatically closes....
Or, I'm told that the printer is offline.
I've checked connections, USB connections, double checked to make sure that the printer is correctly listed "print and scan" option in system preferences.
I did manage to get the printer to print...but there was nothing on the paper. This happened with both printers. Am I missing an important step or something?
Please help.
Thank you in advance.
