iPhone to Android iMessage bug fix

I was having the problem when i switched from my iPhone to my Galaxy s4 where people using iPhones would try to text me and it wouldn't get to me because it would be sent in iMessage. Well i asked one of my friends who knows a lot about Apple products and he seems to have found a fix. What worked for me is to open iTunes, then go to account. Once there find the the section "iTunes in the cloud" and the option in there "Manage my devices". You have to go in there and remove your iPhone from the iCloud and that should work, or at least it did for me.

I both understand what the bug issue is, and I am bringing light to the bug issue in hopes that someone can fix or find a remedy (that doesn't involve having the world turn off iMessage).

I would love it if deregistering iMessage again in their servers would prevent me from missing group texts from iPhone users, but alas my number is not registered and I can do nothing on my end to be able to receive group texts.

No you don't, you just think you do. That is why you are bringing light. That is why my responses are just as serious as your understanding. But enjoy bringing light and I will enjoy even more by my daily entertainment. I lost it for a while, but now you are back.

I do understand the issue. I understand what works, and I understand that I can look at my friend's iPhones and see group messages turn over from MMS to iMessage, failing to include me. I have not gotten a response to help me solve this issue, aside from telling my friends to turn off iMessage on their iPhones.

I understand the issue, and I am bringing light so that more people can be aware of it, see if they have the same issue (as multiple here do), and so Apple can patch whatever their service is that checks before sending something as iMessage.

Your responses are un-serious not because I don't understand the bug, but because you do not care to understand what the issue is (as is obvious from your responses), and have showed no attempt to understand. I will continue to talk about this until one of my Apple customer support calls can help me, or T-Mobile can help me, or AT&T can help me, or until my the T-Mobile bug report that they sent to Apple yields some fix in a future firmware.

If you find trolling entertainment, that's really fine, but has no bearing on the bug.

Having my friends (multiple) who group message completely erase their phones might satisfy your desire to troll, but they will not do that. Surely, you understand that at the minimum.

I have had them wipe me from their contacts and wipe our group messaging history per recommendations from Apple, and then send new group messages to my number and others, and the issue still exists.

How about we just deal with the issue the original post is about, and leave the argumentativeness to someplace else? There's 36 pages of back-and-forth, with some solutions buried somewhere inside. This is an actual issue with people switching from iPhone to other types of phones, at least Android. I have it right now, and there's so much conflicting information in this thread I don't know how to resolve it.
