What can I do if I microwave my iPhone?

I made the idiotic decision of microwaving my iPhone 5 - only for four seconds, but nonetheless it has caused my phone to lose its wifi and phone service... it only shows "No Service" in the top left corner and I don't know what to do. I feel like a complete idiot for believing these stupid Internet rumors and my phone is literally my only working device. I don't know if I could afford a replacement or how to fix this. Please, can anybody at all help me?

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Personally, I think that people who claim to have done that are trolling. Can't imagine anyone that would fall for that.

I agree with Tim. Never underestimate the extent of human stupidity.

"What do you mean I shouldn't charge my phone in the bathroom while taking a steamy hot shower?"

"I flushed my phone down the toilet. A couple of days later, it washed back up. Can you fix it?"

"Show me where it in the owners manual it says that you shouldn't expose the phone to water. If you can't, then it's under warranty." To that one, I pointed out the owners manual doesn't say don't run over it with a car but that doesn't mean that the manufacturer will honor the warranty if you do.

I have a legal matter where I lent my step daughter my car she was pulled over by police and she fled in my car, a day later I was arrested dangerous driving failure to stop street racing, I told the police she had the car they ignored me and said they saw me driving, I use the health app and shows my steps daily and the time she was pulled over I was walking my apple iphone app shows this, and this is my defence. as I have no contact with her because of what she has done. the question is can I use my health app in a court of law proving my innocence all the time they were following her I was walking

That has nothing to do with this thread for one thing, and for another, this is a user to user technical support forum. You have a legal question that you would need to get answered by an attorney, not a random user on a forum. People here are from various countries, and I would never rely on advice here from anyone regarding legal defense. You need help from a different venue than here.
