If I send bring my used Iphone 4 to apple, will they allow me to upgrade to an Iphone 4s

I have recently purchased a Iphone 4, off of Kijiji. I use my own personal Itunes, and the phone is in good condition. (no cracks, minimal scratches). Also, after I purchased my phone, I noticed the volume does not reach the maximum. Although it says it does, the speakers aren't as loud and clear as other people I know, who have an Iphone4 aswell. I was wondering two questions, If i were to bring my Iphone4 to Apple, would they fix the volume issue? also, If I wanted to upgrade to an Iphone 4s, perhaps if I traded in my Iphone and payed around 100$, would they sell me an Iphone 4s? Please help! 🙂

Apple do not do trade-ins so NO

If the iPhone is under 12 months warranty they will look at it , if it not in warranty you could buy an out of warranty exchange unit , in US for $149 similar in other currencies

It is second hand, there is no warranty. It is unlocked, I have no knowledge of the past purchase with that Iphone. If I were to buy an out of warranty exchange unit for 149$, would I still get an Iphone 4s? Because I do not want to purchase the full price for an Iphone 4s.

No. You will get exactly the same model, color and capacity as the one you're having replaced. In addition, if the phone was hacked to unlock it, the replacement will be carrier locked exactly as the original was out of the box.
