I've had my Iphone 5 for a couple of months, I always text my sister & haven't had a problem. For the past few weeks I receive texts from her but she never receives the texts I send her. I went to T-Mobile & had the sims card replaced, but the problem has not been resolved.....any advice will be much appreciated.....
Does your sister have an iphone also?
No she doesn't she has a Galaxy & her carrier is Metro PCS......she already went to Metro PCS and her phone seems to be ok.....could I have blocked her or vise a versa? I don't know how to check this out.

Do you have trouble texting other people too or just your sister?
Is the send button blue or green when you send her a message?
If it's green, then it's a carrier problem. Either hers or yours. It is NOT a problem with the phone... it's a problem with one of the carriers or the interchange between the two.
If the button is blue, that means she has an iOS device with iMessage turned on. If she has an iPod or iPad, tell her to check it for your messages.

I only have problems texting my sister, and it just happened....we text each other all the time and then one day a couple of weeks ago, I thought she was getting my texts but she wasn't.....
We both went to our carriers, but other than exchanging the sim card, they have no clue......
Replaceing the SIM cards won't fix it. It's a routing problem on one network or the other. You both need to report the problem to your carriers. The problem is in their network, not on your phone (or hers).
