I have an IPad, Model MC989LL/A.

Hi there!


Please help! I have an IPad, Model MC989LL/A. Whenever I start using it, the sound effects appears on the screen.What causes this ?


It start appearing right after apple updates

You will see that icon when adjusting the volume on the iPad if you have the Ringer and Alerts Sounds setting set to Change with Buttons. Settings>Sounds>Ringers and alerts>Change with buttons>On. That means that volume of system sounds will be controlled by the volume button on the side of the iPad. Set that setting to Off and see what happens. Why you are seeing it all the time, I can't explain.


Reboot your iPad as well.



Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
