My iPod won't turn on. It fell out of my pocket and it the floor. I got it to turn off. When I connect it to the charger, a battery doesn't show up. What can I do to turn it back on?
Thank you!

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Okay. I'll try this. Thank you!
It worked, but it froze on me and so I did it again. No it looks ever so faintly like the back light it flickering. Should I be concerned that the back light might die out? Thank you!
Likely a hardware problem. An appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order. The appointment is free.
