How do I check toner levels for my Dell 1235CN printer on my Mac?

I have a Dell 1235CN I bought when I was a windows pc guy, but now I ahve a Mac and I can't check the toner levels. I tried System Preferences > Print & Scan > Dell 1235cn > Options & Supplies... > Supply Levels = "Information Not Available." How do I fix this? Thanks
