Hello, when charging my ipad with an extra long lead it takes a lot longer to charge than with the lead it came with. Does anyone else experience this ? Thanks Edd

It's like using a long garden hose, you loose pressure (current) at the end.
You are better off using the original cable with extension cord.

And if you use a four-way power block always plug into the socket at the end nearest the power, because by the time the electricity gets to the 4th outlet, it's nearly all been used up by the other stuff and there might not be enough left. 😝

What do you mean? You can use a long AC extension cable, into which the you plug the power adapter, without any problem whatsoever. The DC output cable cannot, under any circumstances, be extended. The DC output is specified at the connector tip, and a longer cable will alter that.
