I have been trying since I got my ipod touch in 2012 to put just one or two songs onto my ipod without syncing all the music on my mac coumputer. Every time I plug my ipod into my computer, and try to put one song to my ipod, it syncs every music file that is on my computer to my ipod. Please help.Thanks!!!

Select your iPod in the sidebar and click "Manually Manage Music and Video". Then drag the few songs you want onto the iPod.

Open iTunes - Press 'Alt' - Select Edit - Preferences - Devices - Prevent iPod's...... - OK
This gave me an idea of what to do, but i have the new version of itunes, so i dont have a sidebar anymore, or a button that says mannuallly manage music and video. thanka!
Well, you could turn on the sidebar... but rather, just connect your iPod and click on it. You'll be taken to the iPod screen, with "Summary", "Apps", "Music", etc. along the top. On the Summary page somewhere, you should find a checkbox that says "Manually Manage Music and Video".
(Pretty much) all the features from iTunes 10 are still present in iTunes 11. All iTunes 11 got was a new interface.

Don't forget to drag the song you want onto your iPod when you're finished, of course.
ya i did, my mac is syncing all the music files that were on my computer now anyways so ill just keave it now. Thanks for everytging!!!🙂
This did not work for me. When I check the "Manually Manage Music and Video" box ALL of the songs and everything disappears from the window 😟
Was the computer previously synced to Tehran computer?
You can only sync with one computer.
