I'm not infront of my iMac at the moment, but can cofirm my 20" Intel iMac does dual layer, and I have burnt some of my home movies on this format and it works well.
right, that is what I thought...it should have it. but according to system profiler, it does not. also looks like I have 0 cache, whereas others don't.
Spoke to Apple on the phone. She suggested I zap the PRam, which we both thought would have no effect, but after doing so, system profiler now shows 2048KB of cache and +R, +RW, and +R DL DVD writing support!
Seems odd to me.
I did run into a few snags thought. After zapping the PRAM, I got a crash on startup. It said hold the power button to restart. Which I did. It stated up ok. THen I decided to restart one more time and the same thing happened again.
