About how long does Apple take to ...

Hello and thank you for the answers that'll be coming ...

About how long does it take for Apple to respond to an initial application for the iTunes Connect account?

... and ...

Once you upload a book, assuming I can make it throught the application process, about how long does it take for Apple to approve a book?

I'm just looking for general ballpark numbers here ... nothing exact.

FYI: I started the applicaiton process four days ago!

It took about two weeks for Apple to process our application, there was no response before this. As soon as it came through I downloaded itunes producer and book proofer - software provided on application approval, and delivered our books that same day. After delivery, (I delivered three books, as part of a series) It took another week for the books to go live in 52 stores.
