I'm trying to find out how healthy my iphone 4 battery is, but the settings in usage say that it's been in standby for 150 days or so, and usage is around the same. How can you reset the stats? And also, how can you calculate the health into a percentage?

There are no battery diagnostics availiable on the phone. The only way to reset those stats is to restore your device to factory settings. If you have the opportunity to get to an Apple Store in your area, they have detailed diagnostics they can run on the battery.
