Personally I don't think the world's most successful company is going to give 2 ***** about what one consumer has to say about their products. It may just be me though.
My bad on the iPod Touch 4G RAM. But I can still prove my point that Apple's mobile devices are a marketing trap. What more did iOS 6 have than iOS 5 that would require better hardware? The iPad 1 and the iPod Touch 4G both have an Apple A4 Chip and 256MB of RAM. Why can the iPod Touch 4G run iOS 6 and the iPad 1 can't? Hmm, I think Apple wanted an excuse for people to buy a new iPad when the one they have is perfectly fine, just not getting OS updates anymore. Now that I've posted this, someone is going to point out a flaw in it. Just trust me.
That was a terrible analogy. A mobile device getting an OS update is nowhere near equivalent to the world being perfect.

Likely because the iPad has a screen with a lot more pixels and the iOS devices do not have dedicated video RAM and thus use the main RAM for video. Thus, the iPad 1 has less RAM available for general OS use than the 4G iPod.

But the 4G iPod had a retina display and the iPad 1 didn't.
So?
But the iPad 1 has more pixels on its screen that the 4G iPod has on its screen. It is the number of pixels, not the pixal density.
Hence the reason I suggest he talk to them
