Can I watch u-verse tv on my ipad

Nope, I think.

There is a uverse app but it's for guide info, setting recordings and video on demand.

I don't know if they offer live through wifi.

There are a number of apps that let you watch live TV most of which require a subscription to the service that provides the content. There is an AT&T U-Version app in the App Store but it has gotten really bad reviews and I don't know if it is for live TV or videos and clips. The good news is that it is free and if its craappy, you can delete it.

I have the app.

It works perfectly well for what it does.

The low reviews are from people who thought they could do things the app never promised.

Like I said I don't know anything about it. It makes sense then that the bad reviews are based on the users not knowing what the app is supposed to do. No surprise there.
