My Au and Fx plugins wont show up in logic , and i have already put the .vst and .component where they belongs.

My AU and Fx Plugins wont show up in the inserts bar or the plug in bar and i have already put the .vst and .component file in the vst and component folders. It is really annoying, i cant use any other vst`s then the one that comes with logic Pro 9.

1) Logic Pro doesn't use VSTs. Only Components (AudioUnit Plugins)

2) Software Instrument AU Plugins are found by Left Clicking and holding on the Software Instrument button in the Track Inspector (Assuming you have created a Software Instrument track) FX Plugins are found the same way by left clicking and holding on the Insert button in the track Inspector.

3) 32bit AU Plugins must first be validated by running Logic Pro in 32bit mode. Then 32bit plugins will be found in both 32bit and 64bit Logic Pro. 64bit plugins will not appear when Logic Pro is run in 32bit mode.

4) Do the plugins show up as validated in the AU Manager?

5) Why are you manually placing the components in the compnent folder? Did they not come with an installer?

6) Which plugins are you trying to use? Are they compatible with your version of Logic Pro?

My Au and Fx plugins wont show up in logic , and i have already put the .vst and .component where they belongs.
