Hello: I just bought the new MacBook Air and I noticed a loud buzz/distortion coming from the speakers when I try to play something. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this a software issue or should I return the product? Thanks!

I fixed mine by removing my silicone keyboard cover. sigh apparently the speakers are built into the keyboard
I am having your same problem. It started after my p/c did not turn on properly and I went for service. They said it was only to reboot it and since the screen came up they did not want to keep it. When I got home noticed that whenever I played any youtube video etc the speaker had a distortion.... any ideas how to resolve it?
I had my cover always and the sound was ok, all of a sudden it is coming with a buzz or something like that don't agree it is the silicone cover.
removing the silicon cover did the trick.. thx!!
And how can i permanently fix it...any solution ?
