Am trying to upload purchased movie from pc to iPad but have ticked boxes of movies wanting to add to iPad but can't find the sync button? Can anyone assist please
iPhone 4, Windows 7
When you change the sync settings by adding content that hasn't been synced before, the sync button becomes - Apply - in the lower right corner. Do you see that where Sync should be?
I have opend iTunes
Clicked movies
Gone to list ticked movies in little box I want to transfer
There still isn't a sync button or apply in bottom right hand corner
Have tried clicking on device sync no luck
Just normal sync no luck
Right clicking on movie no go
The little cog thing in bottom left hand corner no go
File devices transfer purchases button won't allow me to click
OK. If you are using iTunes 11 - from the menu at the top go to View>Show Sidebar. Once the sidebar is visible, click on your iPad name on the left side. Then click on the Movies Tab at the top, tick your movies and then see if there is a Sync or Apply Button in the lower right corner. Is this what you did?
If that's what you did, do you have some sort of restoration for movies set onthe iPad. Settings>General>Restrictions>Allowed Content>Movies.

I tried your suggestion have found sync button bottom right hand corner and one at to left . But am unable to change the movies that are ticked. If I go into movies on its own I can tick the boxes in the list of movies, but when I go to movies from device iPad the screen goes to muted pictures that don't allow me to change what content I want to add. Most frustrating to those of us who are not computer literate.
Checked restrictions the only thing not allowed is inapp purchases
So you do see this screen, but you cannot select the movies that you want to sync? Is that correct? I am just trying to make sure that we are on the same page.
hi that was the page I was looking at I've managed to do it. by clicking the sync button top left this then said it would delete existing movies which after clicking allowed me to check the ones that I wanted to install and leave ones already there that I wanted to keep. all so easy when you know how. thanks for your help
