Update Issue

on my Macbook it say i need the 10.8 software but when i go to my software updates there's nothing there what do i do?

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8)

What is your Current OS X Version...

On your Mac...

Click on the Apple icon.. Top left in Finder...

 > About this Mac > Version...what does it say?
