itunes issues with new iphone 4s

just bought a new iphone 4s and the second time i plugged it into my computer the itunes comes up completely white?

Try a hard reset:


- hold down the home button and the sleep/wake button

- the phone will turn off then when the apple logo appears release both buttons


Also make sure the internet connection is working on the phone wether it be wifi/3g/4g/LTE. If this fails you may need to look at doing a back up and restore to factory settings but first try the steps above.
