I'm changing an email account which is also my apple id and primary email account. If I change these will I still have access to my purchases in the App Store?

If you go to
https://appleid.apple.com/
And simple change the primary email on your existing AppleID account, then nothing will change. As long as you simply edit the exisiting primary email at the web site above, your account remains unchanged and everything moves over to the new login primary email.
If you create an new AppleID with the new email address, then your current purchases will remain forever tied to the exisiting AppleID linked to your old email address.
THanks I took the plunge and all seems to be working ok and I can still install my purchased apps. This has changed as sometime ago I wasn't able to do that.

I think, apple should don't allow change email. It's more safety for user. I never see any service allow their users change register email except apple.
Apple id and primary email address are the same and I can't see any way to just change the email address.
