how to connect imac with macbook air using thunderbolt cable
I just purchased a thunderbolt cable thinking I could utilize two screens/computers in a simple fashion between my 2011 MacBook Air and my 2012 iMac--both with the latest up to date OS system.
However, I cannot find any instructions of how to do this succcessfully. I am hoping I can do at least one if not both of the following:
1. Use two screen to help me become more efficient at my work, switching back and forth between screens (ie: one with my email; one with my internet browser).
2. Or Use one screen to push the information from one computer to the other BUT figuring out an easy way to have the computers "talk" to one another and easily switch back without having to disconnect cables (which the youtube videos I am finding are telling me to do??).
Thanks for your help everyone
