Mac will not open ALICE installer?

Hi,

I am trying to download ALICE (A simplified program for basic programming). I'm running on Lion. I have downloaded it ok but for some reason it will not open the installer itself. It looks as though it's about then the icon just disappears from the dock and nothing happens..

Any help would be much appreciated.
