Old Pages, not working on my new Macbook Pro. Then not allowing me to buy new one for 13.99 or update old one? Help!

Ok, thanks F, just tried again to buy the Pages and they said I couldn't as software was already installed on my computer (still).

then again they asked me to update it on the software update, but there's nothing there for Pages and if i put in 'Pages' it just takes me back to the link to buy again, full circle..

Sorry this is taking so much time.

If the message is that you Pages is installed all haven't be uninstalled. The script might take some time to perform.

You could do it manually. What you really need to delete is:

User/Applications/iWork '09 folder
User/Library/Application Support/iWork '09
User/Library/Preferences the com.apple.iwork.Keynote.plist
User/Library/Preferences the com.apple.iwork.Numbers.plist
User/Library/Preferences the com.apple.iwork.Pages.plist

…substitute your User name (the one with the little house icon on it) for "User".
Also check the System Library for these files and folders, usually:
Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/iWork '09

I pinched this from Peters site http://www.freeforum101.com/iworktipsntrick
