Battery will not charge to 100

I have charged my battery all night when it was a around 60% twice now and it will only charge to 99%?? My Macbook Pro is literally 3 days old??? It is really begginning to irritate me, can someone tell me what the problem is and if i can fix this or not? Is it even a big deal?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

First, reset the SMC > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964


Then, open System Information (in /Applications/Utilities), choose Power in the sidebar and copy here "Charge Information" and "Health Information". Also, download coconutBattery, open it and tell us which percentage you see under Battery capacity.


It's normal that some batteries don't charge up to 100%. This normally happens when the capacity starts to decrease, but in some batteries it's also a way to increase the battery life. Anyway, this isn't normal in a 3 days old MacBook Pro. You may want to see the Apple website about Macs batteries > http://www.apple.com/batteries/notebooks.html
