in incoming calls how to display company name with name

The iPhone relies on your contact list to provide name information.

If you would like the company name displayed, be sure to enter it in your contact list along with any other information you may provide about that particular telephone number.

If the call comes in from some number not in your contact list, you will not be able to see any name information at all.

To the best of my knowledge, the iPhone is only going to display the name if those fields are filled in. You could edit your contacts so that the full name is in the first name field and the company name is in the last name field.

actually according to this, t-mobile became the first carrier to offer the paid feature in 2011

i don't know if anything changed with verizon after 2011, but i don't see any such feature on their website. I know you can set/remove your own name that is displayed to others, with verizon. but i cant' specifically find this incoming name feature.

the iphone (or rather mobile networks i know of) do not support transmission of caller name. they only send the number.

that feature is present in landline based caller-id machines.

It depends on the carrier and whether or not you opt in.

right. but do any major US carriers support it?

Verizon does. Don't know about the others.
