My macbook pro will not start after this update. Anybody else?

After downloading latest update, today, 7/3/2013, my macbook pro will not start. Anybody else?

Will it start in Safe Mode? Restart holding down the Shift key until you see a grey progress bar. Once booted, restart as normal from the Apple menu.

If that doesn't help there's no harm in trying an SMC and PRAM reset:

The apple store stated that it had nothing to do with the update. It was caused by a file error. They checked the HD; it was fine. They reloaded the O/S and we loaded the saved files.
