Problems with backing up.

Hi,


Trying to back up my iPhone 5 to iTunes. I believe I have the most recent updates of iTunes and my iPhone.


Also in preferences I have deleted all back ups. A message keeps coming up saying the back up is corrupt or incompatible with the iPhone.


Any help?

iTunes on your computer must have the "About iTunes" option from the menu dropdown.


If you have a Mac, the leftmost item is iTunes. You would click that and then see "About iTunes" as a choice. If you have Windows, I don't recall what that leftmost menu item is. It might be "File", or there may be something to the left of that.
