i just wanted to import music from a purchased CD to iTunes. macbook doesnt recognize the cd and automatically ejects it after a 1 minute.
i got a MacBook Alu Unibody (Late 2008) running on the latest software.
can anybody help me out with this one?

I just want to re-empahasize to those replying that the "card+cloth" solution is the answer, that this did not work, and I have even tried two additional external USB superdrives, one brand new, and I still get the same error with audio CDs, but DVDs still work.
