earliest macs to support airplay
Hi, Does any one know when each mac line started to support airplay?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.5.8), G4
If you mean mirror it is mid 2011 for all macs except MacBook Pro which is early 2011 running OS x 10.8 Mountain Lion or newer. You can mirror on older macs with an app called airparrot.
Normal airplay (non-mirror) is supported by older macs through iTunes.
