Which computer speakers are you referring ?
Most of the speakers are only support analouge and not digital, but I am not saying that your computer speakers not supporting, but you have to check its manual first.
One more thing, some computer speakers (accepting digital input e.g. Apple HiFi) are 3.5 mm jack, your probably need this
