Unable to sink iCloud on my iPhone 5 with my PC using Windows 7
iPhone 5, Windows 7
Did you sign into your account on the iCoud control panel for Windows and check the data you want to sync with iCloud, as shown here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html? If you are trying to sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks, are you using Outlook 2007 or higher?
When I sign into iTunes on my PC using Window 7 using the link above, in item 3 Enable Automatic Download's
& fowing iTunes>Edit>Preference the window that appears on my PC is nother like the Window in item 3 so unable to carry out what you are suggest.
I am Windows live mail.
If you are using the latest iTunes 11 and go to Edit>Preferences>Store, you window should look exactly like the one shown in item 3. If you aren't using iTunes 11, update to the latest version first.
Also, as mentioned in item 2, if you are not using Outlook 2007 or higher, you will not be able to sync Mail, Contacts, Calendars & Tasks with iCloud. You can still access these on icloud.com.
I have updated iTunes & still when I go to Edit>Preferences>Store it still is not the same window as shown in item 3. So unable to check the box's as shown in item 3.
I have the 11.0.4 version of iTunes & not the window that you show.
I wish I knew how to to take a snap shot of the window on my PC so you could see what I am getting.
You may want to uninsall iTunes and all of its components, then reinstall iTunes. Follow this article to do this: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923. This won't touch your data or iTunes library; it only uninstalls and reinstalls the applications.
