You really need to explain your issue if you want help.

Use the SIM card removal tool that came with your iPhone and pop it out. If you don't have the tool, a simple push pin will work. Make sure the SIM card isnt damaged or installed upside down in the tray. Pop the SIM card back into the phone and see if you are still getting the same message. If not, try restarting the phone and/or toggling Airplane Mode on/off a few times to see if that solves your problem.

It sounds like you have a defective SIM Card. I would suggest going to your phone carrier and getting a new one. They are usually free or atleast under $2

I have the same problem. I just restored my iphone 5, and brought a new sim. ive activated the sim and all is well for that. but it isnt reading to the iphone. and seeing as ive restored it i cant activate it without a sim.

I have the same problem. Iphone 5 (supposed to be a new one, they just changed my older iphone 5 because the top button wouldnt work), worked perfectly for a while, then the "no sim" message started to appear.. at first turning it on an off would work... then it started to appear more and more often and now nothing works.. I tried using another SIM that also works on another iphone and it wouldnt work on mine... Any ideas? Or i should contact genius bar? 😟 ... This is so annoying!!
