And what about Notes or Calendar integration ? I see nothing in the help file or menu
I do not have On My Mac on Preferences > Accounts - should I add it ??
This does not include messages from Sent Mail
We had a very long discussion on this. It does not work and is too complex, unacceptable
I have reviewes all correspondence. My impression remains: Mail is too complex and it does not work as expected by my intuition.
May pitfalls. You can really get messed up with it in particular when you have several accounts.
And my intution never fails. If I say something is crap, it is so.
Is Mail crap ? not really .... but not far from it.

Separate Applications. If you want an email referenced in an event, or note, drag the email to that app and drop it where appropriate.

Neither do I.
I have no idea how you would add it since it doesn't have an email address or incoming/outgoing servers.

No, it doesn't include the items from Sent Mail because you never included messages from Sent. You only included messages from Gmail, Louis, and Mailbox "[Gmail]}. None of those have any sent mail in them, so you won't see any.
As I pointed out before, "Include messages from Trash/Sent" are filters that will either include or exclude the Trash/Sent if they happen to be found by the critieria listed.
It certainly is much too complex for you. Most people just set up their accounts, maybe make a few mailboxes for archiving, and perhaps some Smart Folders. They don't try to reconfigure Mail to behave like they think it should.
Use the Gmail web interface and leave Mail alone. I beleive you can set up Gmail to go grab your Yahoo mail and display it also.
I have invested too much time to learn the f...g Mail app and you tell me to leave it there ??
Now I am into it and merried with it.

Then learn to get along. Stop trying to make it something that it isn't.
Mail shows no folder location in the All Mail list
