What is the "small" change?

Maybe if it is an image the second version is much smaller in Mb than the first…

It does it even after no changes Peter! But the small change was a text box and shape. I accidentally started a new discussion when I didn't see the reply on this. I'm using Pages to create the newsletter - ends up being around 125 mb with all the pictures, then exporting it to PDF format "better."

Without playing with your file, my instinct says there is more to this than just what you say.

Not doubting you but you just maybe missing something or not telling us everything.
