Logic Pro X doesn't show main window/crashes

I installed Logic Pro X, downloaded the basic content, started it and it ran just fine. Then I started to download the additional content. During download (very slow DSL connection with 768kB/s) I played around with Logic Pro until the application crashed.

After restart, Logic asked to continue the download, I confirmed and the download window showed up in ugly green. I quit Logic Pro x, rebooted and restarted the app.

Now I am facing the following situation: Logic Pro starts and just shows the menu bar, the main window does not open. When I try to open a Logic file, the file browser is shown, I can select a file but after clicking OK Logic Pro X crashes. When I try to continue the download of the additional content, Logic Pro X crashes.

I tried the following things: repairing permissions and deleting the preferences, but nothing helps.

Obviously the interrupted content download left some artifacts that crash logic. Unfortunately I couldn't find these artifacts.

Quite desperate in the mmoment.
