My iTunes 11 TV Shows just scrambled like a bad omelette.

The Show Artwork and show episodes just mixed up like a blender. It's all kinds of messed up. Not only do shows repeat in segments, but the wrong art is on the wrong show, and I've even got MUSIC art comong up as though it belonged to shows.

"Insert Image" appears broken on Chrome so I uploaded screenshots on my server:

Anybody know what causes this and how to fix it?

Mac Pro (Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3), iTunes 11.0.3

I know it sounds absurd, but sign out of your account, then close the program. Open it back up and it should work again. I tried everything to include cache clearing, deleting files, reinstalling, etc. I saw this suggestion on another post about the point when I was reaching my wits end and it worked.https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5183831

Hope this works for you and thank you to all of the contributors.

Another one, same issue. I have a very large library and everything was fine until a couple of weeks ago, then bam, bad omelette. The shows sorted by (title, title) normally alphabetical order but every few rows something like shows starting with "P" mix with "B", not all just some. I have one, two even three listings on some and for example, Farscape has only 4 seasons. In it's multiple entries it will show a couple of shows, Season 2,3 and yet another will show seasons 1-5. Once you click in to it only 4 seasons and the Cloud. Artwork out of this world. What is even worse is this issue replicated between my Mac and PC (don't know which went nuts first) so they are both in the same state. iPhone, iPad all fine. I have tried all options in this posting, Sign out and start again as well remove Cloud and restart. The second option improved the first two rows and that was it. Any additional ideas or information would be awsome but also to be honest, I really would like to know what caused something that was so selective and destructive. If I don't know what show I want it is almost impossible to find.

Thank you or perhaps good luck...

OK! Apple released an iTunes update 11.0.5 (5) that has fixed the problem. I was just about to follow Turingtest's latest advice (I had to wait until I had the free time to spend on doing complex work) but the latest iTunes update from Apple fixed the problem, and my TV shows are happy and correct again.

Thank you all for your diligent efforts, and I am gratified to know that I wasn't losing my mind, it took a legitimate Apple update to resolve the issue, and that the update was issued and it did in fact solve the problem.

Thank you Apple, and if anybody else has this problem, try running software update in the App Store and going to the latest version of iTunes. It fixed my issue! 🙂
