This forum is maily populated and supported by Users like yourself.. and is a community for Users to share thoughts and ideas. It is not normally, directly supported or used by Official Apple Support Staff... Apple Support staff rarely read or post here because it is a User Community.

The various Users here try as best they can, to help and assist with any issues but there are limits to what can be achieved.

If you want a refund for example you must call or email Apple directly.

If you have an issue or wish to complain or request something directly from/to Apple, please contact them via their Support Phone Numbers or email them.

Complaining to/about Apple here, will mainly fall upon deaf ears....

..and expecting Apple to respond to your complaints and requests made here, is a waste of your time and ours....

Not to appear contentious, but ...

Most new users, and even experienced users, are not aware of the "User Tips" tab under specific forums. Items of interest must be re-raised on some schedule for full affect.

Very true, but you can link to the User Tip rather than re-typing this every time, and they can be good for FAQs.

Just a suggestion. We use them a lot in the iMovie forums, but they may not work here.

Appleman,

I would do that except I'm a Level 4 and so I cannot create User Tips... I need to be a Level 5 and up...to do so..

I know.. Minor technicality but thought I should mention it! 🙂

@steve359 - No worries. I am pretty competent at iMovie and Final Cut Pro X, but I am a total newbie at Logic Pro. I learn a lot from you guys by lurking here.

I do not know Logic. Apprently this forum is outside the realm of Terms of Use and other rules, despite indications it does need to follow those rules.

I do not use Logic much so you will likely not see me much here.

Just a thought guys, in the Logic app you can send feedback, bug reports etc. (In other words, In cases when you're not asking a question but simply want your opinion heard) Is that the official way to do so? If so do you think it's worth putting in that user tip?

i.e. in the case of when users have a bug to report - I see many mentions here, but not sure that people are actually submitting them to Apple.

It means we can say naughty things about Apple and don't follow the stuffed shirt rules.

That's why these are Pro Apps forums.. the moderators here understand that the best info need not be presented on a silver platter and that it's ok to criticize the big "A" because we are in fact... trying to improve the software that many here use to make a living.

Steve, you need to hang around musicians more often..
