Post on Facebook from iOS Mountain Lion

I just got Mountain Lion on my Macbook Pro. The facebook application doesnt work as it should... I am not able to post things on facebook via the notification center or share via safari. How can I fix this? Can someone help me please?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

Just to note, iOS is the operating system for iPhones and iPads, not Macs. Mountain Lion (and every version of the Mac OS since OS 9) is referred to as OS X.


Not sure what you mean by a Facebook application. There isn't a separate one as an iPhone or iPad would have. Though I suppose you could get a free one through the App Store. Otherwise, just use Safari. There's no need for a special app to use Facebook.

Ah! Gotcha. I never use the notification center. If I really want to look at Facebook, I use the browser. No sense doing in another app what I can already do in the other. Either way, you have an app running all the time, so why bother with the notification center?


I've seen others report that they have trouble sharing, but click the Share link on any topic works for me. Couldn't tell you why it's not working for some.

I tried to deactivate my facebook account and I removed my account from the Accounts system preference pane.. I logged back on and it still doesnt work..
I dont get notifications when I get some on facebook, I can see the facebook button in notification center on my macbook, but I cant click on it.. and Im still not able to use the share button via Safari :/



what am I doing wrong?:p
