Logic Pro X screen 13" macbook does not fit

Yes..Confirmed.. Issue with Full Screen on Macbook 13" was fixed in LPX 10.0.2

click the green 'traffic light' (upper left of the window), and it will resize logic's window to fit your screen.

LX is not IDEAL on my 13" macbookpro, but i'm adapting... and starting to really love working in LX...

I have a 13" MacBook Pro aswell, so I brought external monitor. HP Pavillion 23xi, works a treat cost around £119 here in UK.

for me, L9 was ok on my mbp, and LX is a little less ok. but am loving LX enough to just deal with it...

i have the same problem,part of the program is cut out in full screen mode,i have a 13" macbook pro 1280 x 800 resolution

try clicking the green 'traffic light' upper left of the window, should resize the LX window to your screen...

It works that way, but not in full screen. I want it in full screen cuz thats how i work best.

I've called the Logic Pro technical support numerous times for this issue (I have a 13 inch MBP running Logic Pro X on it too) and they've been seeing the same problem and have told me they're working on an update for it, so for now it's just a matter of time I guess. I'm waiting too, but the issue isn't keeping me from going back to Logic Pro 9, X is still so much better.

I've been running LPX on a 2011-era MacBook Air (13-inch) with no trouble thus far.

I find I close the library column often, because it takes up more real estate than I'd like, but I've use Logic 9 on 13-inch (and 12-inch) screens for years.

You can adapt the window to show you what you need to see at any given time, so I think Logic is great on 13-inch screens.

Bear in mind, that Screensets work just as well in Logic Pro X as they did in versions 4 through 9 in pretty much exactly the same way. So you can type the 2 key and open a Mixer from the window menu, type a 3 and open a Score window, et cetera, and easily toggle between those windows with the number keys.

The posters above are talking about the newer 13" MBPs and a bug that occurs when you run LPX in full screen mode...

Running it on an older MBP or one with a larger screen... or in Windowed mode.. does not display this graphical bug....

My apologies for misunderstanding. I have yet to see this bug. But I'm glad to hear that going into windowed mode seems to fix it.

I haven't seen anyone state specifically they have this issue using non retina screens so far,... but some peple posting up they have this issue here and elsewhere,.. haven't made it clear if they are using or not using 13" Retinas... so as yet, it's not been 100% confirmed... as being a 13" Retina only bug.

Note: It only seems to apply to 13" screens and no other sized screens.. Retina or otherwise..

It seems it is screens with a maximum default 1280x800 resolution setting (Such as that on the 13" MBP) that suffers from this fullscreen bug...

i have the same problem. what if i display my macbook on my hdtv will it fit to the screen in fullscreen?
