Its 2013 and he has an iPhone 3G. Its a PC.

I'm saying its the year 2013, and the guy is still using an iPhone 3G. He has a PC. Its not a whole lot to think about.

Not everyone has the disposable income to update. Where in his post does it say he has a PC?

Winpatrol was causing this error code for me. When I right clicked on the icon and closed the program and then tried the restore again it worked!

You saved my life. I tried everything, even manipulating the host file on your PC, but still failed with the restore. Tried on 3 different PCs, at least 20 times, all in vein.

Then, as u suggested I turned off the firewall, and it immediately solved my problem,

Now my iPad has been restored, thanks to you. I was about to take it to the service to have it repaired, but now I don't need it. 🙂
